Our story

Someone handed you the color run. We'll handle the part that keeps you up at night.

If you're reading this, you're probably the one in charge of the color run this year. Maybe you volunteered. Maybe it got handed to you. Either way, a big piece of your school's year now rides on an event you're running in your spare time, with a committee that shows up when it can, and a board that's going to look closely at the number you bring back.

I'm Chase. I built RunPledge for exactly that situation. I'll be straight with you. I'm not a PTA parent, and I've never run a color run myself. What I've done is supply the powder for around 1,900 of them, and spend years listening to the people who do.

The hardest part was never the powder

RunPledge was built by the team behind Peacock Powder, my color powder company. Across that many schools, the same thing kept coming up. The powder was never the hard part. The fundraising was. Pledges chased down over text. Venmo screenshots reconciled against a paper roster. Coordinators spending hours working out who gave, who still owed, and whether the number would hold up when the board asked.

So I built the part nobody wanted to handle

With RunPledge, you upload your roster once. Every participant gets their own pledge page to share. Donors give online through Stripe, the same checkout they already trust. The pledges, the payments, and the reconciliation happen on their own, in one place you can actually report from. On Premium, we also handle the parent email and answer parents when they write back, so the reminders going out aren't one more thing on your list.

Your job goes back to being the event. Ours is everything underneath it.

I put my own money behind the result

I don't know your school, your community, or your turnout yet. But I built a guarantee into RunPledge because I'd rather carry that risk than hand it to you. If an eligible Premium campaign nets less than $10 for each qualifying participant, I pay your school the difference, so it's on me, not on you in front of your board.

How the guarantee worksChase Brown, founder of RunPledge, with his family.

I built RunPledge so that whoever runs this next year inherits something that actually works, not a folder of screenshots and a spreadsheet held together with hope. Whether this is your first color run or your fifth, this is the version that doesn't keep you up at night.
